about me:
pleased to meet you! I’m Dr. Claire Wells.
I am a (trail and road) runner, a dog mom to the sweetest derpy golden retriever named Winnie, a mountain lover, a mental health advocate, and an almond croissant enthusiast. I grew up in Ottawa, then lived in Halifax and Toronto for back-to-back four-year degrees, and finally moved to Calgary in 2019. I am an evidence-based chiropractor, with a no-bull$hit approach to care.
I have a case of adult-onset running (I started dabbling when I was 28), but I’ve been lifting weights since I was 15 years old. I love to get runners on the path to getting stronger, as it’s incredibly beneficial for both injury risk reduction and performance. As far as running goes, I’ve done 10k’s, half marathons, a marathon, three trail races including an ultramarathon, and a six-day trail stage race. I’m not fast, but I loOooOove it.
In my work, I love to help anyone and everyone! But I am most passionate about helping runners get out of pain, stay out of pain, and run with joy.
